Ingredients:
1) 1 Lb calamari
2) 4 cloves garlic
3) 4 fresh chillies
4) 3 bell peeper
5) 1 white onion
6) 3 sprigs green onion.
7) 1/2 Tbsp sugar
8) 2 Tbsp thin soy sauce
9) 1 Tbsp black pepper
10) 2 Tbsp Oyster Sauce
11) 2 Tbsp canola oil
Preparation:
1) This is frozen calamari. It is fully cleaned trimmed and ready to be cooked. You can thaw overnight in bag in the refrigerator, or place the package under cold water for 10-15 minutes until thawed
2) When the calamari thawed, wash it very well and drained.
3) Peel garlic and onion then wash all vegetables.
5) Mince garlic and fresh chillies.
6) Cut bell pepper, green onion and white onion.
7) Heat canola oil in a pan on medium to high heat.
8) When the oil is hot, add crushed the chillies and garlic then stir for a few second until fragrant.
9) Add calamari.
10) Sirt-fry until the calamari is getting cook.
11) Add cut white onion and bell pepper.
12) Add black pepper.
13) Season with oyster sauce, thin soy sauce , and sugar.
14) Add cut green onion.
15) Stir quickly to heat greeen onion so they retain their colour, then remove from heat.
16) Place the stir fried calamari with black pepper on a plate, and serve immediately.
